Project Overview
The North Natomas Public Library is jointly used with Natomas High School and Los Rios Community College. The facility is located on a 240 acre Regional Park site that incorporates Regional Light Rail Transit, Inderkum High School the Community College Campus. The Library is organized along the axis of the town center main street with the building plaza identifying the entry to the Natomas Educational Complex. The Educational Complex shares a central quadrangle which includes an outdoor amphitheater, landscaped seating areas, art display courtyard and food services. The Library will have a gallery entrance to house community events and display projects for school and community groups. The reading room will be defined by a large vaulted ceiling that will allow natural daylight into the space. The library facility will include shared computer labs, distance learning center, study rooms, and interior and exterior meeting areas. Both on site and street parking will be available.
